I am Ramona and I had/have braces. I am almost 30 years old and experienced 2 orthodontic systems already: Damon braces and Invisalign. I started my treatment on June 1st 2007 with Damon. I had my lateral teeth (premolars and molars) braced since the case was way too complicated for Invisalign.
After 7 months my braces were taken off and I wore a retainer for 2 months (until the Invisalign aligners came to me). Now I have 1 week since I started Invisalign and I fee great.
In these months I’ve done a lot of reading and asked my doctor a lot. I thought it would be a good idea to share some of the things I was able to learn to make your own journey a bit easier.
