Braces can really fix your ugly teeth, people don’t have to be worried wearing braces. Braces are visible, but do remember wearing braces is far trendier these days, thanks to celebrity wearers like Tom Cruise. If you want braces can even be temporarily removed for a special occasion.

i had braces 2 DAYS before n it is painful.. first day was really painful n i had to take painkiller to eliminate some pain but as of now it is better but not perfect.. doctor says that it will take 6-9 months for my treatment.. is it possible that it will b done so soon?

I have been through the Damon System as an Adult and we also use the Damon system in our office. It is a really wonderful orthodontic system. We have a very high success rate with it. I would really suggest it to anyone interested in getting orthodontics done to straighten their teeth.

I have had both braces, ceramic and metal, and i found it more difficult to clean the ceramic one. They were indd longer lasting then the metal.

Hello Zak.

There is no such thing as metal ligatures, you have rubber ligatures for “regular” braces and nothing for Damon. The Damon System uses something called “sliding doors”, the brackets have the option of closing on the wire, you don’t need a ligature to “tie” them to the archwire. If you have the money I’d recommend getting Damon. It’s really good.

As far as cleaning is concerned, they are all hard since the food gets stuck in there. With good brushing, flossing with a special thread and also going for regular cleanings you’ll be just fine. Normally Damon is easier to clean since its brackets are smaller …

i still havent decided which braces i want 2 get, but i was wondering if metal ligatures were harder 2 clean than the coloured rubber ones?
