I’ve had mine for more then a year and done at least 3 sets of revisions. Currently my teeth are just as crooked as they were when I started and now invisalign wants to charge me more because they can’t get it right. I wear them constantly but they simply have made no difference other then moving the overlap of my teeth to different places (back and forth again and again over the period of more then a year). I’m extremely unsatisfied and will consider getting a lawyer rather then paying even more for the services promised. It shouldn’t take more then 30 trays to correct a minor tooth overlap that was virtually unnoticable to anyone other then my dentist and me.

I also think you are right, because if patient do not visit their dentist any month they will find themselves in the same situation of pains when the time comes so it is primordial for all these patients to meet their dentist every month.

I’m a big believer in not panicking when little disasters in life happen like this. My sixteen year old daughter had the same problem and became quite distraught about it, until she finallyaccepted that she couldn’t change the situation, that she WAS only sixteen, and that once the trays were replaced she had plenty of time to get the smile she so desired!

It is a brilliant solution especially for those who are using the damon braces, after all, no one likes the metal mouth look. Hi there, I just wanted to comment on your article, I’ve had lots of problems with my teeth. I must say, most of my molars had root canal treatment. But when it comes to cosmetic dentistry, lucky for me, I found some natural methods of whitening the teeth. I learned those methods while spending time in India, learning some ancient Yoga systems of practice and hygiene. In the Shat Karma Kriya system there is one Kriya method for whitening the teeth. Look for some good books on the subject or checkout some yoga websites. Good luck.

I’m get a double jaw surgery (forgot the medical name) to fix my under bite and then I’ll be getting braces for 3-6 months after. Do you think it would be good to get Invisalign for an additional few months to make sure my teeth/bite remains straight?
