I appreciate you’re writing here. I am pondering in wearing a brace, I really need it. The dentists say I have wonderful teeth, but I don’t have much space in my mouth and I’m gonna need to take 4 teeth away, healthy ones, the 4 premolars. I’m a bit scared. But thanks to your opinion related to pain, I think I’m gonna proceed.

By the way, have you heard of anyone who wore a brace and the result was catastrophic?

I just got mine yesterday, and yes, today my teeth hurt, but because of the “stops” i got behind my front teeth i cant make my teeth touch so i can’t chew at all, and so it doesent hurt so bad, lets hope the pain disapears tomorrow or after tomorrow and that they get off my stops soon ^^

I’m 13 and I’m getting damon braces in 6 days…my orthodontist is really good and my friends that go to him didn’t seem to be in as much pain as my friends that go to the other local orthodontist. 4 days after I get them on we’re going on vacation! do you think it will ruin my trip!?
seriously, how long do they unbearably hurt?

You guys should get InvisAlign, it hurts just as much as braces, but its not noticeable and makes your teeth look a lot better

i just got my braces three hours ago.I feel a little pressure on my frontal teeth.I only got the upper jaw right now.I will get the lower a week after.I will take a pain killer before going to sleep.The pain is bearable.I ate bread and had some coffee.I think there will be some pain tomorrow and the other day but think it is bearable.

So no need to Worry Guyz.

i am getting my braces next week, and i am really really damn scared about it.. i read all the comments above and now i am thinking if i’ll get my braces or not.. i am afraid that it will HURT for so long.. i am really worried, i don’t like that my braces will be the reason why i can’t concentrate in my studies.. please tell me more about getting braces (remedies to reduce and treat the pain)… the best pain reliever too and on how long will i suffer.. thanks so much!! i’ll wait for your reply.. thanks much!!

Yall need to suck it up. I just got braces 4 days ago and my teeth are still very tender and sore. I can’t eat solids yet.

Yes I am sick of soup and tired of the pain, but

IT WILL BE WORTH IT to have a perfect smile.

If you think about it…2-3 years out of your life isn’t that long at all.
