Today I went to the dentest, and got 4 of my teeth removed. Because my teeth is too crunched up and which caused my overbite. Luckly my wisdom teeth doesn't require to pull out unlike my sister, because they were well growen. After all the needles and removing, im getting my braces done next week yea!. I hope it doesn't hurn as much as you people were saying.

I had my braces fitted on Wednesday I have ceramic ones on the top and metal on the bottom. My teeth are not too painful, they only ach a little but the insides of my cheeks are so sore and painful. My lips and cheeks are really swollen. I am struggling to eat and find it very very painful. I have put some dental wax on and taking painkillers but I am starting to regret having them fitted. Any suggestions?

I do not think wearing a brace will not get too much hurt; beginning it might get hurt if it is the first time for the patient to put braces. If we want our crooked teeth to be straight and have a beautiful smile than we have to face the pain while putting braces but the pain will not be for so long. While wearing braces we should not eat hard food which need biting instead we should eat soft food make sure teeth does not do any work while treatment. During the early days of treatment, we should keep perfect hygiene. After 1 or 2 week, we can eat like a normal person but we should not try anything too hard.
If we want our treatment result be a perfect one than we should respect the treatment and except the pain and finally will came up with good smile and nice teeth.

You all cant try new Ceramic brackets. They are made of composite materials. They are very strong and generally do not stain. Three popular brands are Clarity and Transcend, made by 3M Unitek; and Mystique, made by GAC. Adults like to choose ceramic because they "blend in" with the teeth and are less noticeable than metal. These are the type of braces actor Tom Cruise had.
