I have had both clear and metal... Go with the Damon Clear® they are not noticiable at all and cause very little pain with ulcers and such. Also I will add that the regular metal Damon® is very shiny but they are smaller than the cermeric ones and a tad more comfortable... Both worked excellent for me but the reason I had to get them two times was that I had a car accident and some of my teeth got chipped and some had fell off so they just put on another set. Hope it goes well for you and happy smiling :)

Surely, the ceramic braces has more advantages then metal - I can say that from personal experience. More cheap, painless, useful...i'll continue to use them.

I only had the metal looking ones and they were bulky enough... But vanity could win it if I could time travel back. It's amazing what they can do now.

They are also designed to cause less pain. Most of the patient cannot afford some of the braces so the orthodontist came up with the cereamic braces. It’s designed specially as compare with other braces,

i have ceramic braces at the mo and am very pleased with them - only problem is staining of the ligatures - supernoodles im ashamed to say, they turned them bright green. Luckily my dentist was fab and agreed to change them early for me. i would highly recommend ceramic braces

we are having difficulty deciding whether to use metal or ceramic braces. One orthodontist says that both will give same results. Another says that ceramic is not as firm and difficult to adjust, so end results may not be as good.

Other than looks and cost, what other factors are there to consider. Will the results be equally good if ceramic is used? We do eat curry like once in 2 weeks or so, will it cost stain?

Ceramic braces can be more discreet than metal braces with the proper attention to cleaning. I've heard many people say that they are also more comfortable, though I personally haven't had both.

As compare to metallic braces, less visible ceramic veneers are much easier to manage and doesn't look too awkward.

I just can agree to this. Ceramic braces have far more advantages than metal braces. And the costs are significant lower.

Ceramis braces are just like traditional braces, there is just a little difference. Traditional braces are silver and metal but ceramis braces are clear and well, ceramic. Ceramis braces blend into your teeth and are not very nocticable. They are also designed to cause less pain. Most of the patient cannot afford some of the braces so the orthodontist came up with the cereamic braces. It is designed specially as compare with other braces; it does not contain metal it has created from ceramic material color close to teeth. Even though they are costly but still these braces can do a great job in looks too.Its more lasting than other metal.
