Hello, all you young people--
I am 71 years old and about to start with Invisalign. Why? I don't particularly care what I look like, but my bite has shifted such that I am unable to chew my food properly on my back teeth because of the overbite on my front ones. There is a choke hazard in swallowing food which is not fully chewed, so I have no alternative but to get my bite corrected at this advanced age. I wish a dentist had told me years ago that having an improper bite would lead to any number of dental problems down the line. I should have had this correction done when I was much younger, but it's a case of 'better late than never.'

We have two patients in our practice that are undergoing Invisalign treatment to straithen their teeth. They are both healthy and active individuals. One never had the chace of getting orthodontic treatment when she was young and she always wanted to have straight teeth. Now with Invisalign, her dream can come true.
The other lady is developing some wear on her teeth due to her bite being off, she is getting Invisalign treatment to straighten her teeth and bite. She loves the Invsialign because it does not interfer with her active lifestyle and look at age 82.
